Walking from Corte Cottage: The cottage provides a useful base for a number of walks e.g. Montgomery to Hay on Wye using the Offa’s Dyke path; Ludlow to Kington on the Mortimer’s Trail. In order to enjoy these walks to the full, we also offer (by arrangement*) transport for walkers and their luggage. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Offa’s Dyke – we offer a free pick-up and drop off on Offa's Dyke between Kington and Knighton for walkers staying at Corte Cottage.
Mortimer’s Trail;
Glyndwr’s Way;
Wye Valley Walk;
Northern Herefordshire Trail
Jack Mytton’s Way;
Shropshire Way;
plus an excellent network of local footpaths.

*A baggage transfer service within a 30 mile radius of our house at a rate of 60p per mile for guests and for non-residents.
